Naturopath Sydney

Naturopathy is the practice of preventing, assessing and treating conditions of the human mind, body, and soul. By integrating conventional health sciences with a range of natural therapies and traditional medicines, naturopathy treats the patient’s mental, emotional and physical states for a lasting effect.

The foundation of Naturopathy is the philosophy of the healing power of nature. This means the body has its own innate healing energy and with the help of naturopathic treatment, the body can repair itself and recover from illness if it is in a healthy and supportive environment.

Sydney naturopath, Lindsay Braid treats a wide variety of complaints from period pain, to acne to arthritis, with services like herbal medicine and nutrition.  Lindsay has a special interest in conditions associated with stress, anxiety and mood disorders, as well as women’s health and hormone problems, such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Endometriosis, Fibroids, PMS and all aspects of women’s health from adolescence to menopause and beyond; as well as digestive disorders and fatigue.

At Sanatio Naturopathy I will support and inspire you to achieve the health results you want, from weight loss to endless energy! There is a way to be truly healthy and feel fantastic. My aim is to educate, empower and motivate the patient treatment isn’t simply treat the manifestation of a disease and its effects but rather search for the cause and address it.

Naturopaths are trained to employ safe and effective natural therapies that will support and stimulate the healing power of nature is the gentlest, least invasive and most efficient manner possible. Naturopaths use a range of methods to assist in the healing process including Herbal medicine, nutrition/diet, and lifestyle recommendations, vitamins and minerals, flower essence, homeopathy, iridology, and massage.

  • My heart goes out to all Australians facing devastating fires. If you can help, donate to the Red Cross, RFS or WIRES.
  • What a year, farewell 2019, looking forward to all good things in 2020 🥳 Happy New Year!
  • My poor lungs...! Ugh I’m still sick.
So the next solution (I forgot all these magical remedies when I’m sick) is 3 or 4 garlic cloves, crushed and infused in oil. Olive or coconut oil will do.
Rub the oil on the soles of the feet and wrap them up in socks. An oldie but a goodie 🧙🏼‍♀️

  • 🙋🏼‍♀️ my next few weeks. Today’s my last day in the clinic until the New Year.
It’s been... different to return to work after having a little baby! It’s been stressful - does my brain still work?! Wonderful - being back in my element and helping people. Challenging - getting my work mojo back, sticking to times and pumping milk between clients.

But it’s been so good to be back and helping people get healthy!

I’ll be taking some time off, resting, playing and having family time to return January 13
Looking forward to 2020 ❣️ #holisticliving #holistichealth #holisticwellness #balance #naturopath #wellnessclinic #holisticlifestyle #healthmatters #wellnessjourney #mindbodyspirit
  • 🥦🥒🥬🍏🥝🥬🥒
Greens are a great for detoxing, reducing inflammation and supporting healthy digestion.
Leafy green vegetables are an important part of a healthy diet. Leafy greens including kale, spinach, arugula, and chard are the undeniable superstars of the food world. Low in calories, yet high in fiber, vitamins, and phytonutrients, greens are incredible for your health in more ways than you would even suspect.

Whether in whole food form, smoothies, or organic greens powders, greens have the power to make you look and feel younger, and can even support healthy aging. 🥦Improve Inflammatory Response
Though this may be a no-brainer, I want to re-emphasize how important it is to support a healthy inflammatory response in order to protect yourself from a battery of chronic illnesses. Leafy greens contain antioxidants and polyphenols, the disease-fighting compounds found in plant foods. 🥬Greens are expert detoxifiers, thanks to chlorophyll–the pigment that makes greens…green! Chlorophyll-rich foods such as spirulina, chlorella, parsley, and alfalfa bind to heavy metals and toxins in your blood and carry them out of your body. Chlorophyll also helps cleanse your liver to support your body’s natural ability to detox. #holisticwellness #holisticliving #holistichealth #healthmatters #acne #clearskin #skin #fitlife #wellness #nutrition #health #acntreatment #skinhealth #iamwellandgood #mindbodygreen #mindfulliving #holisticlifestyle #intuitiveliving #mindbodyspirit #holisticmedicine #naturalhealth #healthyhappylife #greenlifestyle #organiclifestyle #pimple #pimleprevention #skincare #breakouts #womenshealth #beauty
  • Clay the emergency fix 🚨 for angry breakouts
Christmas time often equates to later nights, alcohol and diets that are a little off track. It only happens once a year so let’s not feel too guilty.
But what to do when giant mountainous eruptions break through!?
1) relax
2) ensure you are hydrated
3) keep up the fiber to get things moving
4) topical green clay to draw out, reduce inflammation and speed up healing
5) moisturize with lavender and frankincense in a carrier cream

White clay is all I has :/ Benefits of Green Clay💚
For oily, combination and acne-prone skin, Green Clay is ideal for restoring balance. Green Clay works overtime to soak up the excess oils that clog the pores and lead to acne and imperfections, plus it doubles as a powerful deep cleanser that helps to balance pH levels. One of my favourite qualities of Green Clay is that it stimulates cell regeneration to leave you with a seriously glowing complexion. #cleanliving #greenlifestyle #healthmatters #healthyhappylife #holistichealth #holisticlifestyle #holisticliving #holisticmedicine #acne #clearskin #skin #pimple #pimleprevention #foodforhealth #skincare #breakouts #womenshealth #beauty
