IMPORTANT INFORMATION

It is important to read all the information about working together, I also suggest booking a clarity call so you can clearly understand the working relationship, how I can help and what you need to be aware of.  As with anything there are risks involved, I ask you disclose your health information, medications, supplements and history to help me make a safe and effective treatment plan. As all people can react and respond differently to care, I ask you keep me updated if and when you notice any changes to your symptoms, new symptoms, pregnancy, or medication so I can adjust your plan accordingly. If you are unsure about something, if you feel unwell while working together, I ask you contact me immediately to discuss. I opt for a phone call vs email to ensure things are clearly explained, we are on the same page, and nothing can be misinterpreted or missed.

Appointment Policies

APPOINTMENTS

All my appointments are via Cliniko an online platform that allows video calls. Prior to the appointment you will receive a link for our appointment. You can take the call on mobile, desktop or tablet. You do not need to download any apps or technology to use this service.

It is best to take the call some where private and quiet. Some where you can talk comfortably and freely without being disturbed.

Prior to the call you will receive and email with a questionnaire to fill out, details to email over any recent tests and if you are seeing me for acne or a skin concern instruction on how to send over photos.

CANCELLATIONS

Whilst it is understandable that things occur at the last minute, please ensure you provide at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel your appointment, otherwise, you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.

For a ‘no show’ appointment or cancelling within 24 hours of your appointment, the full consultation fee will be charged.

This policy is in place because we have allocated a specific time to spend with you and have spent time preparing for your session. There is frequently a waiting list for appointments. If you are unable to attend, sufficient notice allows another client the opportunity for an appointment.

For valid reasons, such as injury or illness, there will be no charge, however, this is at the discretion of the Practitioner.

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please call reception on (02) 9158 3850

[MEDIATION]

If we are unable to resolve a dispute by negotiation and discussion within 14 days, we agree to proceed to mediation with the assistance of an independent accredited mediator, seeking online dispute resolution or mediation by telephone if we are not both in NSW, Australia.

The mediator is to be appointed by agreement between us or, failing agreement within twenty-one (21) days of the first notification of the dispute, the person initiating the dispute will seek the appointment of a dispute resolution professional by the Resolution Institute: https://www.resolution.institute/resolving-disputes/get-a-professional.

The Resolution Institute Mediation Rules shall apply to the mediation, and we agree to share the costs of mediation equally between us.

We agree that neither of us will commence legal action until, in the opinion of the independent mediator, the potential for negotiation and mediation have been exhausted.

If we are unable to resolve a dispute by negotiation and discussion, you may access the complaints procedure offered by ANTA here: https://www.australiannaturaltherapistsassociation.com.au/
