Lindsay has completed a Dip (Remedial massage) and BhSc (Nat) accredited as Naturopath by the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) (#8686) and is a registered provider with all major private health funds.

Welcome, it’s great you’ve dropped by! My name is Lindsay, and I am a qualified Sydney Naturopath. I graduated from the renowned Southern School of Natural Therapies (SSNT) in 2009 with a Degree in Health Science (Naturopathy). Working in a what is regarded as one of Sydney’s best clinics, I continue to learn, grow and consider myself a ‘herb nerd’; I ensure I stay current with the ongoing findings and research in the field of naturopathy, clinical nutrition and herbal medicine to give my patients optimal treatment.

Since graduating I have worked within a multi-modality clinic along Victoria’s south coast before relocating to Sydney in 2010. In Sydney I have worked alongside some of Sydney’s best Naturopaths, Osteopaths and Chinese Medicine Practitioners specialising in women’s health, IVF and fertility support.

Naturopathy isn’t just my profession it is what I love and how I like to live. I am not talking about sun energising, mung bean sprouting (well actually I do this!) but living a healthy life that also considers what makes you happy.

Being more a realist than a purist, I practice what I preach, and I truly believe that with everything the key is balance! Life can include a whizzed-up energy and nutrient dense kale shake to start the day and end of week Friday wind down with cheese and a glass of your favourite. Daily, I take my herbs, exercise, stretch, smile, and on occasion enjoy chocolate, yes you can have both!

I believe people can balance the finer things in life and still live with zest and energy. So, this is what my clients can expect; well-rounded advice and ideas to ensure they can create the healthy life they desire that suits them and fits into their lifestyle.

As a naturopath, I truly love what I do. I treat a wide variety of conditions from period pain, to acne to arthritis. I have a special interest in conditions associated with stress, anxiety and mood disorders, digestive complaints as well as women’s health and hormone problems such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Fibroids, and PMS.

I feel privileged to assist you in embarking on your journey of optimal health. My aim is to educate, empower, inspire and motivate you. Treatment doesn’t simply treat the manifestation of a disease and its effects but rather search for the cause and address it. I enable my patients to understand their condition and to choose solutions and take positive actions that add vitality, happiness, and optimal health to their lives and the lives of others.

If you’re working on adding greens to your diet I’ve found that smoothies and smoothie popsicles like this one are GREAT for starting out. Many wouldn’t touch a plateful of spinach but will happily enjoy it when it’s used to color a lime popsicle. Everyone expects a lime popsicle to be green, right? ⠀⠀
Ingredients:
⠀⠀
1 1/2 cups pineapple (fresh or frozen)
1/2 banana
3/4 cup coconut milk
1/2-1 cup spinach
Zest and juice of 1 lime
⠀⠀
Directions:
⠀⠀
Puree all ingredients in a blender until completely smooth. Pour into your favorite popsicle mold and freeze 3-4 hours, or until completely solid. Makes 5-6 popsicles. .

I rather this, as it keeps the fibrous parts/fiber in. 
With naturally occurring fruits it’s good to balance out the blood sugar with fiber. I find this keeps my body happier than a juice. I also add cinnamon and hemp oil as well. ⠀⠀
What are you sneaky smoothie additions? Macca powder? Açaí? Spirilina? Almond meal? Matcha?
